Forum FWD: AACSB and Protech to Share How BI & Analytics Help Navigate a Changing World

Professional and trade associations can streamline and simplify online community management by leveraging their existing Protech AMS database and logic, eliminating duplicate data storage, redundant tasks and integration maintenance.

COLUMBIA, Md. – Aug. 19, 2020 – In collaboration with Protech Associates, Inc. (Protech) at Association Forum’s Forum FWD virtual event on August 26, 2020, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) will share how it leveraged business intelligence to help plan for an uncertain future during and beyond the COVID-19 global pandemic.

AACSB’s Director, IT Applications and PMO Ginger Ausloos and Protech’s VP of Project Services Terry Brown will share a virtual stage at 1:35 p.m. CT / 2:35 p.m. ET to present, “Today’s Data, Tomorrow’s Decisions: How AACSB is using BI & Analytics to Navigate the New Normal.

Ginger Ausloos, Director, IT Applications and PMO, AACSB, said, “When COVID-19 shut down in-person events, it momentarily paralyzed many associations since annual meetings and professional development are two primary non-dues revenue sources. As we quickly pivoted to create high-quality virtual experiences for our members, I saw an emerging opportunity to leverage our association data and analytics tools to create plans, strategies and goals for the new normal we now face.

The session is intended to help other associations realize the benefits of business intelligence software and explain why the reports and data that member-based organizations previously relied on are no longer effective in a virtual world. It will also highlight the steps that AACSB took to optimize use of the associations data so its leadership would be empowered to make strategic, timely decisions to help members overcome unprecedented challenges and continue to support their faculty and students during this uncertain time.

Terry Brown, VP of Project Services, Protech, said, Ginger and the AASCB team were ahead of the curve when it comes to business intelligence in the association space. This proved fruitful when the COVID-19 pandemic forced nonprofit and for-profit businesses everywhere to rethink their business strategies for the future. We’re grateful to Association Forum for providing this platform to share AASCB’s successes and help other organization’s see the benefits business intelligence can provide in times of uncertainty.”
