More than 3,800 nominations – a record number – from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Virtual Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Protech was nominated in the Corporate & Community – Customer Engagement Event category for its 2020 Virtual Fusion Customer Conference.
Protech’s Fusion Customer Conference focuses on overarching technology trends, deep-dive product education, customer success stories and networking. When COVID-19 cases were on the rise in early March 2020, the Protech Marketing and Management teams decided to take the 2-day in-person event virtual with just five weeks left until the event. Fusion 2020 was a huge success for all involved. Protech exceeded its registration goal by more than 50% with over 420 registrations, representing 80% of Protech’s customers.
“Protech really took advantage of the technology to quickly shift this event to virtual. The numbers are impressive and exceed all of their goals…Good job,“ the judging panel noted. “Great entry…to adapt to a pandemic and receive attendance by 80% of customers provides insight to the fact that more hybrid events could be held in the future. Good ideas were used to keep customers engaged and to help them navigate. Even the “conference bag” was clever to provide information about sponsors.”
