Background: Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America, Inc. (WSWA) is the national trade association representing the wholesale tier of the wine and spirits industry. Founded in 1943 and based in Washington, D.C., WSWA has more than 360 member companies across all 50 states.
Challenges: With no IT resource on staff, WSWA had a system that was not user friendly. Few employees accessed the old AMS software and most didn’t trust the data. They experienced challenges in executing basic system tasks and were looking for a technology partner, not just a vendor.
Solution: WSWA determined that Protech’s AMS would be more than capable to manage and centralize their database infrastructure with Protech’s UX Online database along with the MX Online e-commerce solution and web interface.
